No worries, we can't get to him now, but we'll unlock him eventually! As you work your way around the platforms, collecting Gems and killing enemies as you go, you'll notice on that last platform another locked door holding in another traveling pig! Talk to him and he'll tell you that there is an underwater passageway in the area! After you're sure you got all of the Gems on the dry part of this area, jump in the water. Work your way right around the platforms to a cage which holds a Dragonfly. In this area, make sure to get all of the Gems on all of the platforms, including the ones in the pots and jars. Follow this void corridor to the other side, where you'll emerge in another new area. Talk to him, and then pass him by, going through the corridor behind him. So, go ahead and kill the Alligator with whatever you want (whether it be Electric Breath or Flame Breath), and then use a Breath technique on the switch behind where he was.
By pressing the switch to the left (guarded by an Alligator), he'll be freed.
He'll tell you that he's trapped by the evil people on the island, and that he needs to be freed. Other than that, look north from the beach at the cage that's keeping a man in. If you've talked to this man beforehand, bare in mind that he won't be there this time around, so you have to jump on the boat off of the dock yourself, and you'll be taken to Luau Island. Barring that you have enough Dragonflies (and you should have twenty-five, which is plenty), the man there will offer to take you to Luau Island. Go onto this island, and talk to the man at the end of the dock there. Follow the pathway that goes towards the beach, where there's an island on the other side of the water.
Go to the farmland clearing where the barn is that stored the UFO in which we got to the Crop Circle Country via. Luau Island is the third world in the game, and our next destination.
